🧠 CancelMates Tip

After turning off auto-renewal, log the service inside CancelMates so you still get notified about the expiry date. That way, you can renew manually if needed — without being surprised by an automatic charge.

📌 RBI Mandate Note

As per RBI rules, banks now require OTP approval for recurring payments above ₹5,000. However, some platforms like Google Play and international apps may still auto-renew if tied to a card. Always check your subscriptions list regularly.

Mandate Revocation Email Template

If your Cancel Button is greyed out in GPay or PhonePe, it is likely a Loan EMI. To stop it, you must email the loan provider (like KreditBee, Navi, ZestMoney, etc.) or your bank directly to revoke the authorization. Copy the format below:

To: [support@loan-provider-email.com]

Subject: URGENT: Revocation of UPI Mandate - Account [Your Loan ID]

Dear Customer Support Team, I am writing to formally request the revocation and cancellation of the active UPI AutoPay mandate linked to my account [Your Loan ID / Registered Mobile Number]. I no longer wish to continue with this automatic deduction. Please process this request immediately and provide a confirmation of the mandate's deactivation. As per RBI guidelines, I am exercising my right to revoke the standing instruction for recurring payments. My Details: - Registered Mobile Number: [Your Number] - Loan Account Number: [Enter ID] - Bank Name: [Your Bank Name] Regards, [Your Name]
