How to Stop Auto-Renewal on Google Play, Paytm & PhonePe
A simple step-by-step guide to help Indian users disable auto-renewal for services like YouTube, SonyLIV, and other subscriptions on Google Play, Paytm, and PhonePe.

📱 Google Play Store
- Open the Google Play Store app
- Tap your profile icon > Payments & subscriptions
- Select Subscriptions
- Choose the app (e.g. YouTube Premium)
- Tap Cancel Subscription
- Follow the on-screen steps
💳 Paytm
- Open the Paytm app
- Tap your profile icon > Settings
- Go to Automatic Payments & Subscriptions
- Select the active subscription
- Tap Cancel AutoPay
- Confirm the cancellation
Note: Some subscriptions may show as mandates under your linked bank account.
📲 PhonePe
- Open the PhonePe app
- Tap your profile photo > AutoPay
- Select the recurring payment you want to stop
- Tap Cancel Mandate
- Verify with OTP and confirm
