How to Stop Kuku FM Autopay
On Google Pay (GPay)
- 1. Open GPay & tap your profile picture (top right).
- 2. Select AutoPay from the menu.
- 3. Find the Kuku FM mandate and tap on it.
- 4. Tap Cancel AutoPay and confirm with your UPI PIN.
On PhonePe
- 1. Open PhonePe & tap your profile picture (top left).
- 2. In Payment Management, tap on AutoPay.
- 3. Find the Kuku FM mandate and tap on it.
- 4. Select Remove AutoPay or Cancel and confirm.
In the Kuku FM App (Secondary Step)
- 1. After killing the mandate, open the Kuku FM app.
- 2. Go to Settings > Subscription.

The Truth About Kuku FM's Refund Policy
Kuku FM's refund policy is very specific and often misunderstood. Here is the reality:
The 3-Day Rule: You can only request a refund within three days of a renewal charge. This does NOT apply to your first-ever subscription payment.
No Free Trial Refunds: If you were on a free trial that auto-renewed into a paid plan, you are not eligible for a refund on that first charge.
How to Request: If you are within the 3-day renewal window, you must contact support via the in-app chat or by emailing support@kukufm.com.

How do I stop Kuku FM autopay on GPay or PhonePe?
This is the most common problem. You must cancel the mandate directly in your payment app. For GPay, go to Profile > Autopay. For PhonePe, go to Profile > AutoPay. Find the Kuku FM mandate and cancel it there. This is the only way to be 100% sure the payments will stop.
Will Kuku FM refund my money if I cancel?
Kuku FM has a strict 3-day refund policy that applies ONLY to renewals after your first paid subscription. If you are a new subscriber or are past the 3-day window, a refund is highly unlikely. You must contact their support via in-app chat or email to request it.
I cancelled in the app but was still charged. Why?
This happens because cancelling in the Kuku FM app does NOT always cancel the UPI Autopay mandate in your payment app. You must complete both steps: cancel in the app/app store, AND cancel the mandate in GPay/PhonePe as shown in our guide.
