CRITICAL: If you're looking for Postmates Unlimited, you won't find it. Uber acquired Postmates, and all Unlimited memberships were automatically converted into Uber One memberships. To cancel your subscription, you must follow the steps to cancel Uber One. Don't worry, you can do this from within the Postmates app.
How to Cancel Your Postmates / Uber One Subscription
The steps are the same whether you use the Postmates app or the Uber app.
1. Cancel the Subscription
- 1. Open the Postmates or Uber app and tap the Account icon (bottom-right).
- 2. Tap Uber One from the menu.
- 3. Scroll down and tap Manage Membership.
- 4. Tap End Membership at the bottom of the screen.
- 5. You will see multiple screens trying to convince you to stay. Continue to tap Leave Uber One or End Membership until you see a final confirmation.
2. Cancel an Active Order
- 1. A full refund is only guaranteed if you cancel before the restaurant has accepted the order.
- 2. From the live order status screen, select Cancel Order.
- 3. A pop-up will appear, confirming if you want to cancel and alerting you to any potential charges.
- 4. If you proceed, you will be charged a cancellation fee if the restaurant has already started preparing your food.

Use the Chatbot When the Button is Missing
Like with Uber One, the End Membership button may disappear within 48 hours of renewal. If this happens, use the support chatbot. Go to Account > Help and navigate to the membership section to start a chat and request manual cancellation.

If you were charged for an auto-renewal you didn't want (especially from a forgotten free trial), contact support immediately. Be polite but firm, state that it was an "accidental renewal" or an "unauthorized charge", and request a refund. Acting fast is key.
